Partner Spotlight – Project Access
Culmore Clinic would not be able to help 1200 people a year without its community partnerships. We have over 40 partners and would like to take the time to highlight some of them in the coming blog posts. Hope you will follow along.
The Medical Society of Northern Virginia’s Project Access has values that line up closely with Culmore’s. Both organizations seek to bring necessary health care care to as many people in need as we can. We are proud to call them a partner in the Northern Virginia medical community.
The Medical Society of Northern Virginia is a professional society that serves physicians in the Northern Virginia area. By providing physicians with education, resources, and information, they also serve the people these physicians help.
In addition to these important practices, MSNVA also runs a charitable foundation. Project Access operates through this foundation to provide specialty medical care to low-income, uninsured patients in the NOVA area.
Project Access uses the wide network of MSNVA physicians to provide volunteers to bring this care to those in need. Project Access of Northern Virginia (PANV) is a program of the MSNVA Foundation that provides specialty medical care to low-income, uninsured “safety-net” patients who reside in Northern Virginia. Currently, PANV has volunteers in more than 20 specialties.
