New Services for Culmore Clinic Patients!

New services are in the works for our patients including laboratory services, an eye clinic and the return of dental care. In mid-July we launched our weekly laboratory services thanks to a partnership with Quest Diagnostics and the assistance of two experienced phlebotomy volunteers.

An Eye Clinic is in the works as well. We are in need of two essential pieces of equipment - an ophthalmology highchair and a slit lamp. Once we have these items we will be able to provide vision screenings. This is a critical need for our patients who often suffer from prediabetes/diabetes and are in need of an eye exam to detect diabetes retinopathy, which can cause blindness if untreated.
